TO: CHIPPEWAS of the THAMES Band Members Who Reside Off-Reserve
FROM: The CHIPPEWA LAND CLAIM TRUST & the CLENCH FRAUD TRUST

Once again this Christmas, each off-reserve band member who owns his / her home or rents, boarders not included, will be entitled to receive 1 boxed turkey & ham, and 2 American Express Gift Certificates.

NOTE: It is the policy of the Chippewa Land Claim Trustees that off-reserve band members register each year. Why? High volume of address changes!

The Following Stipulations will apply:
(1) Only those persons who own their own home or rent will be eligible. If you have a Chippewa band member who boards with you, she I he will not be eligible. Sorry! Only one person per household can register.

(2) The head of the household will have to pick up the boxed turkey/ham & the gift certificate in person at the Chippewa Community Centre which will be during the first or second week in December. A notice will be sent in November.


(3) Must provide their status card and proof of residency

(4) This year, those who live more than one hundred miles from this First Nation may request that the gift certificates be sent by mail, and in addition, will receive one extra twenty five dollar gift certificate in lieu of the box turkey I ham. Please inform Alva Deleary if you will require the gift certificates to be sent by mail when you call to register. Please send your information (status card, proof of residency) by fax (519~289-0153) or by mail, the gift certificates will then be sent by mail.
